APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
The application process can be done alone but for best results a second person is required.
Included in this package are graphics for both left and right sides of the car.
They are rolled up and where needed already have application tape applied for ease of application.
PREPERATION
The car should be in a clean state before application. A sheet or other clean surface the length of the
design needs to be used throughout. Also needed: sharp scissors, application tool and two cans of Stella.
Lay both sides of the design on the floor and identify left and right panels.
POSITIONING (with application tape)
To get a clear picture in your mind of where the graphics need to be, using both hands position the
graphics on the chosen area of the car.
Lay the panel on the ground with the masking tape facing the floor, carefully peel off the backing starting
from the broadest side first, carefully moving along the design making sure to leave all vinyl attached to
the masking tape. This procedure should be performed slowly and steadily.
You should now have the adhesive side of the vinyl facing upwards.
VERY IMPORTANT - do not let any foreign objects come in to contact with the adhesive.
POSITIONING (without application tape)
Positioning will be done whilst you are applying the graphics by referring to the sheet provided.
ALIGNMENT (only applies to graphics with application tape)
Before aligning the graphic apply warm soapy water to the surface of the vehicle, this will allow
repositioning of the graphic as it is applied. Carefully pick up the design touching only the masking tape.
Starting with the broad side first, stick the top corner of the masking tape to the side of the vehicle. Line
up the design on the side of the vehicle, again only sticking the masking tape to the vehicle, so that the
design can be repositioned if required. View the design from a distance and only when you are happy
with positioning move to the next stage.
APPLICATION (with application tape)
Once the design is in position, starting with the broad side first, press the vinyl firmly and evenly to the
vehicle. The vinyl can now be moved with a firm sliding motion to the correct position if the soapy water
has been applied first.
Once in position, using the application tool move along to the end of the design squeezing the water from
behind as you go. Leave the graphic to dry for a short while before removing the masking tape.
Only when the graphic is dry start to remove the masking tape starting at the broad side of the design
making sure that the vinyl is securely attached to the vehicle.
Cut out the small section(s) of vinyl which cover the gap between the door(s).
Using the application tool push out any air bubbles which may have appeared.
Spending more time on this section is recommended. The life expectancy of the vinyl is increased if the
design is applied evenly. This is a quality design which has a life expectancy of 7-8 years which is one
of the highest life expectancies of any vinyl currently in the UK.
APPLICATION (without application tape)

These graphics are designed to fit most car sizes but some cutting and repositioning may be required for
smaller cars. Sections without application tape are usually secondary colours or small sections. First apply
soapy water to the surface of the car. Then peel the graphic away from the white backing. Apply soapy
water to the adhesive side of the vinyl before placing onto the car, this allows repositioning. Press the
vinyl firmly and evenly to the vehicle. The vinyl can now be moved with a firm sliding motion to the
correct position if the soapy water has been applied first. Once in position, using the application tool
move along to the end of the design squeezing the water from behind as you go. Using the application
tool push out any air bubbles which may have appeared.
Take a step back, break open the stella and admire!
